Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Toetique handles personal information when you use toetique.shop, place a UAE order, contact support, or otherwise interact with the storefront. Shopify provides the commerce platform.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use the storefront, information may include your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, order items, payment status, delivery details, support messages, device and browser information, IP address, cookie or consent choices, and storefront interaction data such as page or product views, searches, cart activity, checkout steps, purchase events, product identifiers, quantities, value, and currency.
Payment information
Card payments are processed through Ziina and Shopify checkout. Toetique may receive transaction and payment-status information needed to manage an order, refund, fraud review, or reconciliation. Cash on Delivery information may be used to confirm and fulfil the order. Do not send full card details through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
How information is used
Information may be used to provide the storefront, process and deliver orders, confirm Cash on Delivery requests, communicate about an order, provide support, manage returns and refunds, maintain security, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, improve store operations, measure advertising performance, attribute sales, and show or limit relevant advertising where permitted. Marketing messages are sent only where an appropriate consent and suppression process applies.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with Shopify, Ziina, Quiqup, Meta Platforms, technical and support providers, professional advisers, or public authorities where required or permitted by applicable law. Quiqup receives delivery information needed to perform UAE collection or delivery services.
Meta advertising, measurement, and product catalog
Toetique uses Shopify’s official Facebook & Instagram by Meta sales channel to sync eligible product information with Meta and may use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement and catalog advertising. Depending on your interaction, available settings, and applicable requirements, Shopify and Meta may receive browser and device information, IP address, page and product interactions, cart and checkout activity, purchase information, product identifiers, quantities, value and currency, and contact or order identifiers where supported. This data may be used for measurement, attribution, audience creation, ad personalisation, and showing products that may be relevant to you. Meta handles information under its own Privacy Policy. These tools are configured through Shopify customer privacy controls and are not intended to bypass applicable consent or opt-out requirements.
Cookies and customer choices
The storefront may use essential cookies and other technologies needed for checkout, security, preferences, analytics, advertising measurement, and consent management. Available privacy choices can be managed through the storefront controls where shown. You can also review relevant advertising and off-Meta activity settings in your Meta account.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order, accounting, support, fraud, advertising measurement, and legal requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
International processing
Shopify, Meta, and other providers may process information in countries outside the UAE. Where required, the relevant provider or Toetique uses an appropriate legal mechanism for that transfer.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw a consent where consent is the basis for processing. Identity or authority may need to be verified before a request is completed.
